During our 100 plus years of business, our commitment to customers and their needs has never wavered. That’s why we are positioned to continue growing as we put our customers – and what we can deliver to them – as our number one priority.

From the beginning, we have built our reputation on customer service and quality products. In the late 1880's, we began selling fresh produce to area grocery stores. This remained our primary focus until the mid-1950's, when we became the first in southwest Missouri to market retail frozen food.

During the next two decades, we began to shift our focus to the rapidly growing foodservice industry. By the mid-1980's, we solidly positioned ourselves as a leading foodservice distributor to Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

From that point, we have accelerated our growth to better serve the constantly changing demands of food service operators.

Today, Banta Foods is a full line foodservice distributor, marketing a complete line of food products and supplies, chemicals, paper goods, equipment, and smallwares. Our commitment to customer satisfaction has never strayed. We will continue to introduce new ideas and services to better serve you, our customer.
